WHEN YOU BELIEVE AND PRAY

1 Peter 3:10-12

One of our understandings is we have the guarantee there is “Someone” who listens and answers our prayers. We believe Yahweh Almighty is our Heavenly Father and He knows all our needs. He might not answer our prayers just the way we want, because He knows what is best for us, but we do expect Him to answer. Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

We may be disappointed if His answer is not what we expected, or if we have not had an answer yet, but there are still blessings in His silence. At His time He, the Father, will enlighten us to see how loving and thoughtful He has acted toward us.

For the Believers prayer is a necessity, just as breathing in air is needed to live. Through prayer and in prayer we are connected with the Divine Ruler Yahweh! Through prayer He may do miracles in our midst and in our lives, and we may be a blessing to one who crosses our path.

Yahshua was often in prayer. He did know He needed the closeness with His Father and so do we. Everyday occurrences make us aware that we need the help and strength from above in order to stand our ground and be a witness for our Father Yahweh and His Son Yahshua our Savior.

When we are tempted to think we are not doing much and cannot break through for Yahweh in these present world situations, let us remember that we can always pray – and if our prayers are motivated by genuine Scriptural Faith, we shall still remove mountains of obstacles and difficulties. The key to our “Exodus” from the present chaos in which our family of Believers are suffering, lies not in the greater and greater production of material things, but lies in Believing Prayer according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The promise of our coming King still holds good. “But seek ye first His kingdom and righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Here is a Promise and Principle we can act upon throughout the unfolding year. We can be sure there will be no failure on Yahweh’s part – for with Yahweh all things are possible!
