    SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM

The theme of this year’s Feast of Tabernacles at Eaton Rapids is found in Matthew 6. Starting with verse 31 we read: “Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first His kingdom and righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Life at a very basic level hinges on food, shelter and clothing. Here Yahshua is telling us that seeking His kingdom should be a higher priority than these…

YAHWEH’S WORD – OUR DAILY BREAD

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Yahweh, wilt bless the righteous; with favour will thou compass him as with a shield.” Psalm 5:11-12. Yahshua said in John 4:32-34, …”I have meat to eat that ye know not of … My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me and to finish His work.” When tempted in the wilderness by the devil to satisfy His hunger by commanding the stones be made bread, Yahshua answered, …”Man shall not live by…

    THE ELIJAH MESSAGE

“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith Yahweh of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith Yahweh of hosts. Remember ye the…

    YAHWEH & YAHSHUA

Are They One and the Same Being?  There are many reasons why we cannot, we must not, accept the view that Yahweh and Yahshua are one and the same being, usually called the “Oneness Doctrine.” One of the most obvious reasons this cannot be true is as follows: Many Scriptures indicate Yahshua had a heavenly Father, known as Yahweh. These and many other Scriptures indicate the heavenly Father had a Son, known as Yahshua. If they were (are) one and the same being, then Yahshua did not really have a heavenly Father at all. There is no Father in heaven. If there is no Father in heaven, then there is…

    “WHOSOEVER” AND “BELIEVE”

Elder Gorgonio D.U. Intong “Whosoever and “Believe” is the good news for everybody, everywhere, every age, that Yahshua is our Savior. Some words may be bigger and some deeper, but none broader than “Whosoever”. It makes Almighty Father Yahweh’s plan for man’s salvation a very personal matter. It declares that every individual on the face of the earth is included. Nobody is left out. Not a single man or woman. Not the smallest boy or the tiniest girl. Most definitely it takes in you. Wherever you read “WHOSOEVER” in your Scriptures you can substitute your own name, for in its all-inclusive offer of salvation it takes in the whole human…

    OUR WALK IN FAITH

“Ye shall walk in all the ways which Yahweh your Elohim hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.” Deuteronomy 5:33. “And now, Israel, what doth Yahweh thy Elohim require of thee, but to fear Yahweh thy Elohim, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yahweh thy Elohim with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13) To keep the commandments of Yahweh, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” Deuteronomy 10:12, 13. “See, I have set…

    THE POWER OF PRAYER

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:5-6 For the Believer to have a living active faith, there must be daily intercourse with the heavenly Father. The mind and heart may be drawn toward Him, or reflect…

    WISDOM

Wisdom according to the English Dictionary means experience and knowledge shown in making decisions and judgments. In our present day and with the high spate of technology, one is prone to believe that knowledge and divine wisdom comes or can be acquired through education or with age. This wisdom is greatly sought among the human race but the crowning irony of it is not everyone knows how to come by it. It has to be sought diligently of Yahweh through whom every good gift comes. Like King Solomon, who was bequeathed the crown in his youth, felt it wasn’t in efficient hands and asked Yahweh for wisdom, the wisdom of…

    WHAT IS SOUND DOCTRINE?

Saul in addressing Titus (whom he calls “a true son in the common Faith” Titus 1:4); admonishes him to appoint Elders in various Assemblies, men of good behavior and of noble character. His words I quote from the Eastern Aramaic, by Lamza, which says in brief – “Appoint only an elder who is blameless… For an elder must be blameless, as a steward of El; … Holding fast the doctrine of Faith, so that he may be able to comfort by his SOUND DOCTRINE, and to rebuke those who are proud. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers of the people … whose mouths must be stopped,…

    GIFTS

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of’ lights … James 1:17. When we realize we have been a sinner, that we have transgressed our Maker’s law (1 John 3:4), and that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), we might decide we would rather have life, and more abundantly (John 10:7-10). We might become very sorry for what we have been. We might decide to make a turn around in our life and ask Yahweh to forgive us. He wishes none would perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). If we then repent and earnestly ask…
