STARTLING FACTS
“Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if thou knowest it?” Prov. 30:4. “I am YAHWEH: that is My name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images.” Isa. 42:8. “Sing unto Elohim, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him.” Ps. 68:4. Yah is the last part of Halleluyah. Halleluyah means Praise ye Yah. “Thou shall not take away the Name of Yahweh thy Elohim to bring it to nought, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that…

WHAT IS THE ASSEMBLY OF YAHWEH?
We are often asked these questions: What is the Assembly of Yahweh? Where is your headquarters? Who is your leader? These questions can be readily answered from the Scriptures. In most of our English translations of the New Testament we find the word “church” being used (Matt. 16:18, 18:17, Acts 2:47, etc., etc.) This word is translated from the Greek word “ekklesia,” which means “a calling out,” “a congregation” or “an assembly” of people. In today’s common usage, when one refers to “a church,” he is usually talking about “a building.” The Scriptural meaning is “the people,” specifically the “called out” believers. All those who have heeded the call of…

IT’S TIME TO TURN TO YAHWEH & YAHSHUA
YAHWEH OUR FATHER “So will not we go back from thee: quicken us,and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again,O Yahweh Elohim of hosts, cause thy face to shine;and we shall be saved.” Psalm 80:18, 19 At the Assembly of Yahweh we have a strong desire to honor and restore the personal name of our Heavenly Father, Yahweh. Yahweh’s name was inspired into the Hebrew and Aramaic texts of the Old Testament nearly 7,000 times. It has been the tradition of most translators to substitute the sacred name of Yahweh as well as the Hebrew word Elohim into English with Lord or God. “… then began men to…

THE TITLES EL & ELOHIM
Good or Bad? By Voy Wilks Are the titles El and Elohim acceptable in referring to Yahweh, the Most High? I respectfully call to your attention the following thoughts: The most ancient manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible, dating to the first or second century before Yahshua’s birth, refer to the Supreme Being by the titles EL and Elohim. Therefore to claim that late scholars (Jewish or Gentile), added these titles is unfounded. Thousands of times throughout the Sacred Writings (the Bible) Yahweh is referred to by the titles El and Elohim; by the Fathers (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), by the judges, by the Prophets, by the Apostles, by Yahshua the…

THE SAVIOR’S TRUE NAME
The name of “Jesus” is very precious to many people, because it was by calling upon Him through this name that they came to know the Savior. I myself was a child of ten or eleven years old when I first came to accept Him. I truly came to know Him as my Savior and Master when I accepted Him into my heart and life as “Jesus Christ”. However, in the course of time I was shown that this is not actually the name by which He was called when He lived on this earth. I also came to find out that using the true form of His name…

EL AND ELOHIM
Idol names or designations for the Heavenly Hosts? By Larry Rogers Although ancient Bible manuscripts use the terms El and Elohim in referring to the Heavenly Hosts, some reject these titles because they were also used for pagan idols. Is it proper to employ these words for the Father and Son, even though they were used for such idols as those of the Canaanites? Consider ThisThe Ras Shamra tablets, discovered in 1929, brought to light that the head of the pantheon of idols worshipped at ancient Ugarit in today’s Western Syria was indeed called El (or Il). He is pictured as the father of the other idols, though he himself…

YAHSHUA or YESHUA is Pronunciation Important?
All Hebrew names have meanings. If we look at Matt. 1:21 we can see the meaning of the Messiah’s name. “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name Yahshua; for he shall save his people from their sins.” The Word of Yahweh. The name of the Messiah means “Yahsavior” or “Yah is salvation” and its meaning is derived from the Hebrew word for salvation. One thing the movie The Passion succeeded in doing is to introduce the majority of Christians to the Hebrew pronunciation of the savior’s name. The question to consider: is the pronunciation presented in the movie, and used by the majority of…

IS JESUS THE NAME?
There is power, there is salvation, in the Name of the Son of the Most High, and it behooves us to learn just what name the Heavenly Father ordained He should bear, when He was born into this world as the Messiah and Saviour of men. The Saviour promised unlimited power to His followers who used His right Name, when they prayed unto the Father, saying, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” “If ye shall ask anything in My Name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14, 15:16). “In that day ye shall ask Me nothing.…
